i have never ran a rotary but have run a op machine. wheels up op is sometimes hard to steer i would think that is why the wheels down model is so popular. question is do the wheels lessen the head weight? head weight is very important to op machines just look at orbot with 16 to 20 pounds of weight on it, everybody seems to say it cleans better and faster that way.

as to rotary, it's advantage is a brush. i lhave seen vids where a carpet brush is used and it's so cool to see all the dirt and grease being chewed up. a zipper after that kind of aggitate would be easy and fast. I wonder how many guys would use a brush on it if it was easier to use, wheels down keeps it from going side to side. with john browns way it is like mowing the lawn, right?

over on the other board Paul brown likes high sppeed rotary with bonnets over his freedom op machine. he can run rotary with one hand so maybe that is part of the reason but he also says the rotary is faster. I think he will cause some guys to switch over to dual speed (or mytee adjustable speed) rather than buy a trinity or orbot. can wheels down high speed rotary with boneets and pads clean as good or better than a 5000.00 op machine and be easy to use by anyone, especially newbies and or women?? more choices for more people. thanks for the video john. good luck and keep up the good work.

sorry i meant Jeff not john.

How about someone making a rotary with two side by side motors, kind of like one of those little cheap shampooers?

So after watching these videos, what I thought was, he put a wheel kit on a 175. What I think is he put a faster motor on a older frame of a op machine, to make them I guess faster is this correct?
