When You Adjust Your PTO Clutch?

Do most of you knock the 2 bearing slip colars loose and move the whole inner shaft, or shim the clutch magnet?

Shim the clutch electromagnet with flatwashers. A 3/32 gap is usually specified.

Hi Shawn:

I've always moved the inner shaft. Now I'm thinking "thats too much work". But on the one I'm working on now the distance is too little, and there are no shims to remove. Sounds like I have no option but to move the inner shaft, is that correct?
