Or maybe the year before.

Is he still around ??

Is he still teaching leather repairs, etc;??

Just got back from Connections and attending Tony Wheelwright’s (aka Harry Hides) Leatherwright leather restoration class in Vegas.
The class was amazing! I brought a badly damaged leather sectional with us from California, it had rips, cat claw marks, scratches, finish damage, ink spots…not to mention being filthy…and in three days I learned how, and actually restored that sectional. Greenie and I did it ourselves..and it looks great! It even survived the trip home in the open trailer and the rain! (Tony, that leather protector cream of yours worked awesome!)
I didn’t bring our digital camera this trip, but there were others there that can post pics for me, I’m sure.
This was the best money I’ve ever spent on a class. I recommend it highly. I’ve taken other leather classes, and they were very informative…but I loved actually DOING a full restoration job, start to finish. Thanks Tony!

Long story short...........

He had a blank avatar when we switched to xenforo.
In an effort to make things more visually appealing I added avatars to profiles that didn't have them.
I chose Harry from "Harry and the Hendersons"

He went apeshit and called the person that added the avatar a chicken shithead jokester that needed to grow some balls and grow up. When I told him it was me and why he said I could put a bloody ape as my own avatar..........which I did (a chimp anyway)...........

I remember that. Totally unlike him, he could always take joke.
I think you caught misdirected anger.

A lot has happened since then and he hasn't said a thing. I'm surprised by that also.

I'm terrible at judging people but I felt I knew Tony fairly well. Too well for him to have been involved in a lot of what he has been accused of.

Until proven differently I don't believe the rumors. I still considering him my friend and stand behind him.
