Which glue is the best to use on rear view mirror?

Thought to remove the plastic suction part off the Garmin suction cup and retrofit with metal piece then glue it unto the windshield right below the rear view mirror. Getting tired of the suction junk falling off.

What’s the best glue that will hold its strength like the factory glue used to mount rear view mirror onto the windshield?

no.....there is a kit sold at any auto parts store
comes with an alcohol wipe...that you GOTTA use

Auto glass place is cheap and far better than the kits. Heat gets to the kit glue and the mount may slide down a little in the summer.

also it doen't have a flat enough surface for this pie in the sky idea to ever work!

Check your local laws. It could be illegal to have that on your windshield.

They ticket people here for hanging things on mirrors. Its an obstruction of your view.

Rear view mirror adhesive is a 2 part product that sets and cures FAST for a reason.....while it is being held in place.

I would not try to do it with any other glue.

Likely just make a big mess.
