Which orbital?

I’ve got a glass shower door to tangle with tomorrow and saw that some are using an orbital. I’ve also been wanting to try one on upholstery.

Welp, I might try to find me a proper Memorial Day sale today.

Is there a brand you guys recommend? I know I’ve seen Makita mentioned here.

I have a few Dewalt tools already and might try to stay in that family if the batteries I have will be of value.

Should I get corded instead?

What brand?

What else do I need to know?

Thanks!

I think you have your terminology messed up rest and Makita this is just a polisher not an orbital, it doesn't have oscillating action.. I never heard anybody using an orbital and shower work..

So, am I looking for a polisher? Is that what the Makita is?

Can it be used on furniture? Stairs?

Should I just attack the glass with that Prochem acid?

This shower is full of scale build up.

I’m planning on doing some caulking too and trying to get a plan together so I can be somewhat efficient tomorrow. My 1 shower turned into 3 and I gotta be on the baseball field at 5!
