Which TM Works Harder.......

As for wear and tear on a TM during usage, which would be the hardest on a TM:

1) A TM that is just cleaning carpet and/or upholstery...

or....

2) A TM that is extracting water as in a WD job.


I say #2, because the vac is under constant and continuous strain, drawing much more water than a wand could ever put out. It doesn't wear on the solution pump, but the pump pulleys are still turning.

What do you say?

The pump pulley isnt pulling if you have a clutch,and most motors work better under a load,so I would have to say the quality of the machine and maintenence are the keys.
