I'm looking at used Vortex.

The 1st lease company quoted me astronomical finance fee's. I'm still waiting to hear back from the 2nd lease company (it's been a week now).

Can anyone recommend a good used tm lease company?

Thanks!

If there is anyway possible that you can finance it and not lease it you would be much better off....

Most ( not all read the fine print ) financing companies will let you pay it off early and you can save some money in the interest

Almost all leasing companies will make you still pay full price even if you pay it off early....

Most finance company's have much lower interest rates and you will have no balloon payment at the end.....

Also by financing it.( this is an AZ law so you might want to check it out where you live also ).you will save money and not have to pay property tax on the unit....When you lease something it belongs to the leasing company..so property tax kicks in.....

Leasing is like renting with the option to buy...

Financing it is more like ownership....so ( if done correctly ) you can save a hell of a lot more in the end....

Some restrictions apply......offer not available for those who think that 3 pigs and a brush goat are considered down payment..... .see your local bank.lender for further details...

Jim is absolutely correct. I'd read his advice and make sure you ask the right questions. Go find somewhere to finance it unless you are for sure you can take a deduction on your taxes to make it worth it. I'd make sure to talk with an accountant, if you can't then finance it. That's my 2 cents worth anyhow.

Be very careful with any thing you do. The reason I'm in the Mess I'm in is because the Lease company has no interest in the equipment at all. It can be a piece of Shit and they don't care. They have a Financial agreement
and thats it. They have no power over the deal and the only thing they care about is that paper. We're paying over 799.00 per month for a non working machine. I'd get an attorney to look it over it may cost a little more but you'll have someone that knows contracts to look it over for you.

Newbie?? I'm sure someone investing in a Vortex isn't a newbie. Always get an attorney, with all the snake oil salesmen out there you NEVER know who is honorable. This business is getting just like many others, people make friends with you, talk like they are your friend, then have no qualms whatsoever to screw you.

Looks pretty nice Bob, does the 8k include installation ?
Steam Genie was always a great PTO, I hated to see them vanish & I'm glad someone is keeping them coming.

I don't know what mess your in but if you are leasing it then you don't own it the lease company does. If it don't work give it back. A lease return will not effect your personal credit (if your company is set up right and your did the lease right) I always tell everyone to talk to their accountant. A lease with a $1 buy out is usually the fastest and easist for newer companies to get equipment. You can wait for 2-3 months and run all over and jump through a million hoops and maybe just maybe get a bank to lend you some money on a Van and NEW equipment but trying to get one to lend on used equipment "fergit about it". Now if you have 100k in the bank and you've been in buisness 5+ years with no debit and lost of assets you shouldn't have any trouble borrowing money.

George;

What are you paying for it ?

Does it need any rebuilding ?

Bank financing is the least expensive, but will require a little more down.

Well... The first TM I bought was a Vortex. I was definitely a newb with TMs. Before that it was portys and bonnet cleaning. I did a ton of research. Hours and hours of it. I even rented a Hydramaster CDS to test it (fail).

All that said, we were in business for over ten years, excellent credit, and money in the bank. Getting a loan back in the day was pretty easy.

I don't know much about a steem genie but that seems like a screaming deal. Is that a 45 or 47 blower? What heat kind of hx does it have? What lift can you set it at? What kind of van do you have to install it in?

Yes it IS a screaming deal...as these units were selling for $16995.00 brand new.....AND as you can clearly see ...this unit IS brand new....except for the STAINLESS STEEL waste tank and reels!
It DOES have the 47 blower which will suck off the chrome from a trailer ball.......and the HX is the bundle HX which will left a mark on your arm is ya touch a brass.......it installs in a Ford Chevy OR Dodge.....
but if ya wanna keep the A/C....put it in a Chevy.......
