Probably comes out close to 50/50. I'd have put more carpet in but was concerned about tracking mud in at the time. Kids were young when we built.

I don't care for the look, feel or sound of vinyl plank. Not much for wood either.

I like carpet, soft, warm, quieter, looks good if you maintain it.
