Sand, use self-etching primer (for aluminum) and shoot the damty thing with whatever automotive paint you like.
Use a single component urethane, it is easy to work with and forgiving. Make sure you are getting enough air out of your compressor, get enough stuff and go for it.
Or go to Econo, Peach or Maaco for $350 and let them do it. If you do that, take them the self-etching primer. Fail to do it and they will just scuff n shoot with whatever was in the pot.

$4000.00 to Paint anE250 from white to green @ Maco. Auto body place quoted me...wait for it....$12,000.00.

And I complained about the 4k.
Painting the last two Spartans were $3500.00, $3700.00 respectively over the last couple of years.
My local body shop quoted me a price of $1k for just the box. I think I'm gonna take it to him once I get this adhesive removed

Should be the same... Depending on the style of door you may want, like a roll up or swing out.. Swing has less maintenance than a roll up..

use a HVLP gun.......you'll save a ton of paint plus yor shop won't be totaled out!
spend yor money on a nice 5 HP 2 stage compressor that'll last forever....THEN
work on yor air tool supply!

buy some cheap white enamel and practice. Try an old fender or hood from a collision repair place that has a dented one in the scrap pile. Prep is everything. But painting a work truck that will have signage is a ton easier than trying to put a factory quality paint job back on.

Yeah, I checked out their stuff. I found out, once my local dealer offered to install it, that they're the best way to go
