Rokan has a 400 ft elec hose reel for about $1800 plus shipping. You can get it powdercoated too for an extra 60.

Why not just cut, expand, and weld it with either channel or angle iron? I think someone did that mod on here. I FINALLY got a used electric hose reel, how did I survive without it.

My guy wants 400 bucks to modify my Rokan. It still might be the best way to go. Kind of want a really nice reel but don't have the room for a AeroTech one.

I think the mod is in making a electric hose reel, that is if i remember right. $400 seems a little steep BUT I could do that mod myself

Huh? $400 is cheap. If you can bend the steel for the pulleys plus motor and belt for less then I'll send you a pallets of reels for you to turn into electrics. There is a $1200 difference between a standard and electric and Rokan is the fairest price reel on the market.

Nick Nello's makes a all stainless steel electric hose reel. I think a 300 footer runs something like $699. Give him a call and ask him about them.

I think bob already has an electric hose reel? I'm not talking about making an electric hose reel, Just talking about expanding a current electric hose reel. Someone expanded a basic rokan hose reel AND made it electric also. Mine is the 250ft electric rokan and it could be expanded similarly to what was shown in that paticular thread.

Besides that really nice one from Aerotech. Looking for a bigger electric reel. Mine isn't big enough.

No need for a bigger hose reel,, just use 1'' vacuum hose and you will be able put 900 ft on the reel you have .

I think John is right. While I have it down I will sand blast it and paint it the same color of the TM then clear coat it. I will also put some pedestals under the base to make it easier to hose the truck out. Those bases catch crap.

I will call Nick and see what the deal might be. Thanks for the input.
