I thought of using a trailer but I have been using a SUV setup with the following;I kinda like the idea of using an enclosed trailer to pickup area rugs only.
I had that happen to me once with a canoe I had strapped to the hood of my Ford Bronco. One of my friends worked for a competitor for awhile and they had one of their TM's in a trailer. He said they were on their way to a job one day and their trailer passed them.
He said they were lucky and it only ended up tearing up someone's front yard.![]()
DAT!!!! I just noticed i'm responding to posts from 2015. WTH man! Why you searching archived threads?I thought of using a trailer but I have been using a SUV setup with the following;
Mytee ltd5 (runs out of SUV upright)
Generator to run two cords from mytee 5
Hot turbo heater
Air hog (also has apo)
No tanks, utilize apo and af (toilet/faucet)
*keep 25 gallon of water in case
Oreck orbiter (my 175). Does great!!!!
Water otter for tile and grout, hard surface
Wands, upholstery tool, stair tool, broom, vacuum, rake, etc
Chemical ( carry larger portions what I need for day and smaller portions of other)
Towels, rags, etc
Brochures, invoices, biz cards.
There is a guy with a truckmount in town and I blow him away, no lie. It's the personal touch, customers like the idea of a custom set up that is a little different for every home. Sometimes I use some, sometimes I use all!!!!
My set up with vac booster I can run 150 feet of hose easy and not lose anything. Haven't tried more than that.
My 2 cents anyway!!!!!!!
After your nap. You're less pissy then. This place has been comparatively dead for the past few days.
I may be forced to start a thread soon.
Cause he’s #gaduated from the trailer sceneHow is it Matt Wood is so quiet when this thread is on fire again after three year of dormancy? @Matt Wood, here is some candy for you.
You'll have a more efficient, and happier tech when he has more power, and the machine is doing most of the work. The smaller the machine, the more muscles are working on the tech.I have had same system for a long time and it's just more beneficial for me. I do agree some truckmounts are more powerful but again it all relates to who is running the truckmount. Power doesn't mean that a good job is being done. The tech makes that!!!!
