Might I suggest this one. They have a parking lot and meeting rooms. I see a lot of railroad repair people and semi’s parked in their lot staying the night. Also very close to The house.

The only issue may be transport to evening fun. If that is a concern, may I suggest one of the many hotels by the mall of America and along the light rail. Easy access to the mall or downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. The light rail starts at the mall of America goes under the airport (with a stop) through south minneapolis (past my house) and ends in downtown Minneapolis. You can then get on another train and that will take you to downtown St. Paul. Each has many stops along the way including one 3-4 blocks from the ronald McDonald House.
