I have wicking issues.....Do not know what it originally was. It cleans up well with JJ, but keeps returning. What do you think? Hit it with the Claw until it is bone dry? What product works best for you?????
It depends on whether you actually want to clean it or just seal it in the backing. If seal it in the backing then take your pick from the above advice. If removing the source is your goal, then use the claw as you first mentioned. Soak scrub dwell and flush like hell and extract.
To add to Rex's, get the homeowners fan and leave it on the area. Preferably a fan you can tilt down. Set on high, tell ho not to walk on it for the rest of the day, cross your fingers.
Clean it again apply 4 or 5 paper towels on the spot and put something fairly heavy on it,,like a telephone book, the spot will transfer/wick up into the paper towels and ..its gone ..bye.
Like Larry said, Wicking is during drying, If you leave it bone dry it aint wicking..... Reoccurring spot means there is still some residue that is attracting tracked in soils.. Means you didn't get it all..

Not likely from the JJ....unless you rinsed with plain water and didn't use the O2 rinse agent...It's always possible to leave some prespray by mistake.
