Reminds me of my days of sledding....in the 70's. Started off with an old Panther, bought a Jag 340, Yamaha 400 Whatever it was called, Kawasaki 440, and a few others I don't remember. Ancient technology compared to todays sleds. I even bought, and still have, an Arctic Cat Kitty Kat for the kids.

I spent a month with my brother in northern Michigan. I was 15 and I spent every day on an Artic Cat. Most mornings they had lake effect snow.
I love four wheeling and rock crawling. I've wasted a ton of money on it. But riding a fast snowmobile on fresh powder is the most fun I've ever had.

So, are the Cats the Boss again? Or another brand? I haven't kept up.

Cat supports cross country racing the most as well as sno cross, but in sno cross Polaris seems to have a slight advantage overall... But Artic Cat does have Tucker Hibbert who is an incredible rider and hard to beat.

Skidoo does well, but the race dept that brought then success was picked up years ago when I was racing by Polaris and that got Polaris to a way better sled.

Polaris and skidoo dominate the west where we have steep rugged mountains. With fuel injection the sleds have gotten extremely dependable now with much more horsepower. Ski doo has the upper hand on engine dependability. They are always one step ahead. Kinda like the Honda of the industry.
