cleaning carpets in vacant rentals. Often, as in the picture (I hope) high end homes.
Through a PM company, so no way of knowing anything about these floors.
Try as I might, to avoid the slightest drip when getting to the carpeted areas, it still happens. I am I think usually very prepared to wipe up the slightest grip very quickly. But always seem to leave streaks and not the finish that was there when I arrived. Again I have no idea what else is on any of these floors probably something different each place.
Pack it is even possible they send me in very quickly after something has been done to the floors. No way of knowing and they would not know if I asked. anything I could try to wipe up the drips ?
Right now I'm just drying them quickly with clean towels,. Sorry about the long rambling post I don't usually do it from my phone using talk-to-text and this little screen is not old fingers friengly!! Lol.

You may be using a too aggressive product. Acid rinses can also impact wood floors. It's common to have over sprays and drips, most of the time, they just wipe up. If you're have this problem often, buy some long painters canvas tarps to protect the floors.

or you could try upselling

after carpet is done, lightly mist a neutral and spray buff with a 175 for a nice even look that pops
from the looks of them if you look at the picture they do not need any more work they are beautiful.
I just have no way of knowing if that has been recently done or not because as with most Property Management it's managed chaos and one arm or hand does not know what the other one is doing or has done.

I bring tons of towels Etc and thinking I can wipe a little drip up with no problem but I have been experiencing streaks when I do that.
I usually just mist plain water and then dry or buff by hand because it's just a drip here and there

I can see they dont need much which is why its a perfect upsell

or tarps and dont dribble 🙂

You're not making any sense Rick. Just go to home depot and buy 3-4 moving blankets to cover your pathways

Harbor Freight has quilted blankets for a song. Cover the transition strip in doorways before you spray cleaner on the carpet.
