This story brings me back to one of the worst memories of my life:

When I was 11 my father woke me up to let me know that the building that housed our cleaning and restoration business was on fire. It was a total loss.

We too had customer's belongings in it that we were cleaning for their own fires.

We....I was a kid...my father and mother bore the brunt of all of this.

In any event, the loss was so devastating that we nearly went out of business, and were treated very badly by the franchise my father belonged to at the time. Because of his bitterness toward them for how they treated us, he left that organization, and looked for ways to train and supply businesses so that they would never have to buy a franchise.....and this business I now have was born.

To the more important part of the story:

Woodard's are among the most highly respected companies in this country. I wish them and their employees who depend on them the best through this difficult time.
