It’s 105 today and I'm hot. All these are covered in cat hair and urine. I’m calling it quits for the day. I’ll come back early in the morning and do some more. Got 18 total to get done.
Also, I showed up this mor ing to a water leak. Glad I installed an in-line shut off valve to the far lawn the last time I repaired the sprinklers. If I hadn’t would would have no water in the shop right now.

Props to you man! 🏆

I hate hate HATE rugs! They are always pissy and heavy.

No explanation can fully describe the experience of bear hugging a couple hundred pounds of urine soaked wool.

I miss alot about being a cleaner...that's one experience I don't miss at all. 🥴

nope, all good.

headed out on a 130 miler next weekend...

Mick Pender and I are co-hosting a ride on Saturday, July 10th. Our departure point will be 7 miles east of Lovelock, Nevada. From Reno, Lovelock is about an hour and a half drive. Due to some of the challenging aspects of this ride, we’re imposing a 10-buggy limit. While not mandatory, radios are encouraged.
The ride will be a 130-mile (carry gas) loop, S/E through the West Humboldt Range, we’ll do some ridge running through the Stillwater Range, visit a couple of super-secret hot springs and check out some historic Airway Navigation sites. For most of the route, we’ll roll along at a pretty good clip.
We’ll meet at the intersection of Coal Canyon Road (Hwy 396) and Prison Road at 9:30 AM, Saturday morning. 40.24203, -118.37385
For those wanting to stay overnight, either before or after the ride, the C Punch Inn & Casino offers rooms and dining. I’ve stayed there. It ain’t the Bellagio, but it’ll do.
The weather in Lovelock mimics that of Reno and after all this IS Summer, so be prepared for the heat with lots of cold water. Gas and provisions are plentiful in Lovelock.
I’ll post this under the Events Tab where you can make inquiries and indicate your interest in attending.

Ok. I got everything dusted and vacuumed. I’m out of urine chems so I had to stop for the day. I though I had some for wool rugs but I’m out.

@Brian H , how do you guys deal with this fake leather backing strip? I’m just going to wash the rug as normal.

That's what we do, though you may need to be careful to not do more damage to the strip. We would also ask if they want that repaired.
