No reason not to consider hiring someone because they are believed to have "failed" at something, unless more was known about the circumstances involved.

I have"failed" at many things....including businesses.

It can teaches someone a lot of important things........real fooking fast.

I'm a better person because of it.

Fook, if I don’t do that in a day, I feel like I’ve let myself, and my family down...
When there's no mortgage payment, credit card debt, and only one car payment...pocketing 52K a year is a comfortable income.

I hope your business is making $1k/day, that's a sweet income.

If your BUSINESS is making $1k/Day, how much are you netting off that? And if your business is NETTING $1k/day, More Power To You!!! That's why we chat on this board and swap ideas. I might have to tell Stanley I'm worth more than $1k/Week if they ever asked me to join the force, :yoda:

Well Matt, I’m NOT debt free... I’ve got 2 young children in private school, and am making a mortgage payment. I also carry some CC debt.... yesterday I did 3 jobs, and brought in just over 1600..... I average between 800 to 2000 a day....

I've got one in private school, and the other in public. I'm hoping we'll be able to put him in private school before 5th grade. Public schools today are ruining our kids

you gross $300K a year?
That's supercalifragilisticlly stupendous for a one truck/one man operation ( like many here)

How many trucks and men/women in your biz, Jeff?

thanks

I thought he meant a DAY too..

if he meant $1000/week after taxes and biz expenses (or at least the biggest nuts to crack)
I reckon he'd be doing pretty all'ite down there in Pecan Grove , Gawgia

If you worked 275 days last year thats a $976 or so average, which is still great but will be less likely to have a "Pecan Grove, Ga man slits his wrist in his trailer" headline...

I was gonna say $800-$2000 isn’t a average it’s a variance!

But maybe you don’t grind 5-6 days a week and only go out 4 ? And your daily is say $1200 a day avg ?

Either way yor grinding hard it’s a lot of work congratz!

The only thing I could think of would be

MS: Where’s Marty I thought he was supposed to setup?

MP: He went into the back bedroom 30 minutes ago! Thought he was using the bathroom, so I stayed far away!

MP/MS: approach door and hear a buzzing sound on the other side like a mini saw cutting wood!

In shock they open the door and both say!

MARTY WAKE UP!

Sorry guys I’m off today while Phil does 3 jobs in the rain!

This March we’re up on last March, I’m
Old and need a day off now and then!

Got back from MIKEYSFEST did $900 Saturday worked 6 days in a row the following week, killed it Monday Tuesday’s light day yesterday!

And finally off today!

But I’m working Friday Saturday!

My helper phil was going to be off Saturdays to work on his other business!

Just told my wife he’s shutting that down and he can work any day I need him!

Woohoo!

I’m off Saturday forever!
