So, the bank contract we landed a few weeks ago is going well. We bid it high enough (residential rates), fully not expecting to land it. Well, they said ‘when can you guys start’?

We travelled for 2 3/4 hrs last Saturday to take care of the first branch. Things went well, except for the drunk dude that wanted to come in and chat…(who gets drunk on a Saturday morning @ 8 AM anyway?)..

Anyway, we are doing a pair of them this coming weekend.

Carpet, T&G, and upholstery….

Today, we received an email from the regional director, …..

THEY WANT TO PREPAY THE ENTIRE CONTRACT FOR ALL 19 BRANCHES, for the 2021 year…

They want to sign a 3 year, (twice a year) contract with us…

Is there any downside to this? Besides the obvious?…

BTW, thanks to Mikey for getting my new brush glide out to me so quick… I picked it up today from the post office… it’s going to get a full workout in the next few weeks.

Did it once. Was paid $30k, felt like free work several months later when we actually processed it. That was the only downside.

If you're sales are too high for the year end, you could always move the sale to the process date.

Uhh I heard of that being done before but never actually cooked any books myself. 😳

Congrats Jeff, we used to do 3 TD branches until a big franchise took over the contract. The contractor was nice enough to ask if we could compete with someone willing to do it for 9¢/sqft, no thanks.
Well Jim, I’m the tail end of the 9sqft guy…. They are not willing to ‘throw money away anymore’ (their words)…
Eventually, they come back around.

The company doing it was Indo Canadian. They would bring their children to work, and use the facility to their own use…. Prep lunch in the break room, let the kids play in the play area, all the while doing subpar work…

That looks like it would have unique challenges. Cleaning your way in or out? How does that work, wand the runner and use a hand tool to get under seats?
Not with a swivel wand

the seat bases are all enclosed and you clean across each seat row by standing in the adjacent row

5 passenger cars with 2 vans done in under 3 hours
