A lady sent me a pic of what appears to be years of built up hairspray on her tile. She has tried numerous products even muratic acid on her tile. I would like to clean it and color seal the grout. Can this come up and what would be the best product to use on it?

Agree that I would start with a high alkaline like a VCT stripper or a highly alkaline tile cleaner. Include some extra dwell time.

Flex citrus. Spray it on heavy. Go set up your truck at a union workers pace. Scrub grout lines. Turbo at 900-1000 psi.

They make great before and after pictures too. I have done it without scrubbing the grout lines by just letting the flex sit longer and keeping it wet. I clean tile with cold water so I let the product do the hard work.

My daughter is a competitive ballet dancer and uses hairspray all the time. Now I will say that it's not heavily built-up but it is an extremely easy clean with PowerMax, little dwell time, smoking hot truck mount 800 – 1000 PSI
