YELLOW STAINS ON CARPET

85 year old man could not make it to the bathroom in time. Wet his pants and drip on carpet next to bathroom. Many bright yellow spots. Cleaned it and dried the area then sprayed stain magic and covered it. Came back an hour later and it did not change. Sprayed more on it and tried to steam a little area at 10 seconds intervals did not vas it. Does any body have any suggestions? PS The man was on medication at the time this might have a lot to do with it. THANKS.....................

It more than likely is a dye stain from the dye in his medication. I have seen it a million times.

Ecolab Proforce Carpet Cleaner in a trigger sprayer 50% cleaner 50% water apply generously dwell for 20 minutes reapply then extract with powerhead wand(I put in Powerhead wand because so far that is all I have used with this mixture on pet stains that have been in place for a year or more; and I haven't used a regular glided or naked wand on these jobs yet). So far 100% success with urine stains with this method.

USR misted on,cover with your plastic tabs and put a piece of a blue block to prevent the plastic from blowing away. Advise your clients to leave it sit for 1 day and that it could take 2 to 24 hours.

I called Todd at Pro Choice and he said to spray on Stain Magic and take a steam iron on the stain. I did that and it did not budge it, He said it might not come out because of the medication he was on. The spots are about a 3 foot area near the bathroom. How about using 30 volume on it. The carpet is white. THANKS Steve

i really like molecular modifier on this type of stuff. kills odors and stains and leaves a baby powder scent.i spray it on heavy and by the time it dries most urine stains are gone.

Stain Magic IS 30 volume,so you have done enough there.Maybe you could patch it.(or should I say bonded insert )
