I unzipped the cover of a few cushions and there would be black marker writing on the foam .. Id line it with a strip of plastic cut from a garbage bag and cleaned away. I did do a light colored sofa where the wooden legs were covered with the fabric .. you could see the black marker bleeding .. I kept going over until the bleeding was faint and explained to the customer there was no way of knowing and nothing I could do about it. I accused the marker applier of being irresponsible seeing it was a wet cleanable fabric.

If I were thinking .. I could of used a needle to pull the fabric away from the leg, (which wasnt skin tight but not too much play), then used a blow dryer to dry the thin fabric. I think that would of worked. And I lay plastic g-bags on the panel to set my cushions tee peed incase of bleeding or staining.
