For me, the key component I'm looking for is an alkaline base. Which is why I'm working with the Procyon. I want something that can buffer the prespray while cleaning, with out leaving a stiff residue behind. Good discussion from what I have read all around. Maybe sometimes, it's just the mental assertion to know your rinsing with more than the universal solvent.

The carbonated solutions stuff works to, just seams less economical pound for pound. especially if your pre spraying only and fwr.
I'm curious how much the 6.5 lb $35 jar of Procyon makes? Our $110 case of cleaner makes 100 gallons of ready-to-use cleaner. Is $1.10 per gallon not economical?

Thanks Rieta. That's a thoughtful, kind offer.
I'm gonna pass this time. But my good friend Richard, he may stick around.

As in:
"I picked up my bag, I went lookin' for a place to hide;
When I saw Richard and the Devil walkin' side by side.
I said, "Hey, Richard, come on, let's go downtown."
He said, "I gotta go, but my friend can stick around."
