Either one is flexible enough to bend to the radius your looking for.

Don't secure it to the machine..just let it ride along loose.

Thanks for link. If you are letting it ride along loose, how much bigger than the machine do you make your loop.
Looks easy to make.

For me personally, the garden edging is terrible. It's hard plastic and doesn't do the job. A nice dense rubber is heavy enough to constantly fall to the floor and almost create a seal. I had my Cimex splash guard modified, but then it disappeared. I used some stuff from ACE last time, I think it is clear plastic/rubber draw liner. I cut it into the size strips I needed then doubled them up to make it extra thickness. I used vinyl stucco tape to tape everything together and added layers of tape on the bottom to create a soft contact point. Not as good, but it works a lot better than plastic garden liner.

I second the rubber baseboard. You can buy 3or4 ft strips at Lowes.

It took me 2 piece for my 20 in. I wrapped it around with slanted edge facing away from machine. Just like win its installed to wall.

Connected the pieces with zip ties after cutting X slits. Took utility knife and trimmed for detailed fit under the wheels.

Nice functional fully enclosed splash guard for under $10.
