I honestly had a thought about doing a spoof Saiger video. I was going to track down 200 empty cans of Red Bull and do a super hyper video that showed them all pouring out of the van when I opened the door. @Mark Saiger what do you think?

I could use some Red Bull today....

I've got 100 feet of this gray 2 1/2 inch vac hose. It's hard to use because it's so stiff.
Is there any 2 1/2 hose available that is real easy to handle and is more flexible?

I've never tried the 2.5" of the amflex/super flex, but I have the 2" and it's wonderful. Well, compared to the poop that came with the tm. We run 2.5 for 50", then 2".

Can anyone tell me how that compares to the 2-1/2 hose on the Sapphire truck mounts?

That sapphire hose is good for the first 50' off the truck. That's about it!

I have both and they are about the same. The sapphire will kink easily and feels softer to me. I've never kinked the amflex.

Easier to handle, mine is too stiff even if it's warm outside.

The material is softer. its easily collapsed. Don't know anything about the cold it's currently 70.
