Yes.

Tony held a class at the 1st Nashville MF but it was at the same time as Jim Pemberton's Upholstery class and I didn't want to miss Jim's class. He hasn't done another one since other than private training.

Yes it does and so if you are actually willing to learn more about the use of Synthesized Lipid Fiber Pigments, here is some homework for you -
Take a few scraps of carpet of various fiber types and on each one make 3 separate, quarter sized marks/stains using a few different colored Synthesized Lipid Fiber Pigment applicators.
Leave one alone, heat one with live steam and heat the 3rd one with a steam iron over a damp cloth for 30 seconds.

Let us know how this worked out - pretty sure that you will learn something useful and odd.
Of course if you are color blind - don't bother.

Joe Couch from alladins got me started.

Ruth Travis has a class she teaches you can fly to. you can pay for your investment really quick and it is a high profit service you should be offering. IMO

I did a job last summer for a lady who was selling a house didn't want to install new carpet just wanted to deal with bleach stains and she still was giving the buyer a carpet allowance.

We charge $200 to $400 when we do it. Chris a room of carpet is $1000 to $1500 dying is a cheap option to fix a damage spot.

Property managers accept more imperfection. Home owners tend to want it to look like new. It is important that you set expectations. sometime you can do a spot and it looks great from 3 directions in the light you have and the next day at a different time from another direction it looks slightly different. That has been my experience. Others are probably better than me.

Yellow was removed the easiest. All heated spots appeared darker after applying heat.

Anyway the point of this exercise is to illustrate that oily stains like that can become permanent once they are heated.

No, will not get you in any deeper IF you can be very careful and patient, you will not kill the patient.
Take the lightest, dullest green crayon (not a bright lime green one) that you can find.
Now as gently as you possibly can, barely touching the fibers on that red stain, brush that crayon over the carpet.
Sip on some sweet tea first Chris, relax and go for a very slight adjustment of the color - you can always give it another stroke as the color starts to become a more brownish color.
Take a pic and let's see how you did with more instructions to follow.
