I think upholstery tools are around 2 flow maybe the ss tools flow more, I doubt it, 6 flow at 400 psi I usually run my 6 flow at 600 psi same with my 12 flow wand. Some times its a good thing
Did you guys measure the fresh water temperature in each tank and make sure all machines were similar by any chance? All machines were tested with both wands wide open until tenps were settled.
400psi
103ish outside temps.
To bad TCS didn't come to this. Curious what a little giant #4 would so with #12 flow.
Nate, is that with wand continuously keyed after the temp settles out (worst case) like the testing mentioned above?Little Giant #4 heater.. 15 flow Zipper...

I agree those sound awful low.Thats a cool benchmark test, but......
Was any load placed on the blower?
Most of those machines have blower exhaust heat exchangers and would benefit from the blower heating up under load
Those Butler heat numbers look pretty low compared to my real world observations and informal temps , even in much colder temps
Which unit are you referencing Marty?Oh quit bitching. The numbers are what they are.
I can live with 195 at the wand.
Call me what you want to but I still don't know what machines you're talking about...There were two that got that measurement.

The truck mount manufacturer that had a gauge 45° more, I think that's crazy to mislead people like that. I hope it wasn't on purpose to make them look better. I have a 12 flow wand with temperature gauge atw and I've used it with a cds with salsa, pro 1200 and my 870 and those are the same numbers I had.Just to share for sharing sake
We used the same gauge.... and all gauges and meters can vary even in our water damage, and other parts of ours and other industries.
One manufacturer had a gauge they hooked up that showed a 45 degree higher temp on their unit.
Time constraints, we did not run around and test all units with that gauge too.... So, a person could feel good if you add 45 more degrees to all truckmounts, or just our favorite
I do plan to test more when I get home to see if I can dial my TM in more and have a better understanding of where it runs better in certain conditions... Which we tried to ask each TM manufacturer or rep on site what would work for them to get their best numbers.
All units performed very well and deciding on a truckmount has different needs for everyone...
I wouldn't feel afraid to purchase any of them if really needed a cleaning unit.
It was really fun having the opportunity to run and play with all that were there. Such a great moment.
Thank you to all the disturbors, and vendors at the show.
This is lot of work for them to put on this event...
