It has a little under 60 days of use. Heats water fast and maintains a constant temperature with ease. No temperature spikes. Burns almost a gallon less an hour than my 20hp and little giant combo with more power and better heat. I haven't found anything that will hurt the heat. The engine runs very smooth and is noticibly quieter than my previous machines. I can actually take a call next to it. It provide more than enough vacuum and heat to dual wand.

Dislikes. The oil does not have a way to drain it. You are going to make a mess, no two ways about it. The wand doesn't come with a glide. Both are easy fixes but should come from the factory. I altered the front panel to my likings. I cut off the down spout exhaust because it was melting my rhino and cut around the quick disconnects. Once I added the shutoffs it would not fit around when removing. I ran a little pin striping to make it look factory. The belt on the pump slips above 1000psi, just a little, even though it's very tight. My dealer checked and agreed it's more than tight. I have little black piles of belt slowly building around the pump. I was always told not to use the products that stop belt slip. They aren't good for the belt! But in this case, I think I will.

Conclusion. Very happy with it and have recommended Sapphire Scientific to many friend.

Been waiting for the installation video...
Battery died so I only got the unit being pulled.

It runs at 1.51 current average, that's a gallon less than my 20 hp. and little giant. My thermal wave ran at 1.21-1.23 life time history.

engine oil or blower?

are you sucking it out?

My C4 was like that...sucks.
Yes I sucked it out but installed this. Now it's easy. Neither have drains but I'm talking about the oil currently.image.jpg

That lock on the pressure reg is pretty slick. I could use that on the 1200 SE.

Nice review of the 870...How much work do you use this machine with a week? Whats your opinion so far of the longevity of buying another truck mount? 5 Years? 7 Years? I feel I'll be in the market in less than 2 years, as I currently run a diablo thats fine as we speak...Very Low hours! All tile and Grout! Thanks!

Why would you need a machine that big if you do all tile and grout?

Plenty of work to justify the machine plus commercial at the end of some days. The machine has preformed as expected but only time will tell for sure. All the components look solid and the layout is well thought out. If I only cleaned tile I would probably just own something like the 370. I might even look at a portable that had a pump out.

How did you get to the point of staying busy with just hard surface?

Did you start with carpet?
Where are you located?
Do you polish stone as well?

Very Good Questions...I have been cleaning and sealing solely tile and grout for over 15 years now...I do anywhere from 5-10 jobs per week...Las Vegas, NV...I don't do stone, except travertine (no high gloss)...I like staying in one profession as well as my average job is less than 2 hours setup to breakdown...There is enough tile and grout in Las Vegas, NV to keep a 500 trucks busy...I do less than 250 jobs per year (lately)...It's all good...I turn down a lot of work (larger jobs) that I really don't want...98.5% residential...I'm not a carpet cleaner...I am an Expert in Hard Surfaces primarily ceramic, porcelain, travertine floors. Thats actually one of my lines when people call me for quote/estimate...Great Business!
