What's there to "like" about it. It doesn't have all that much cleaning punch, so you couldn't "like" it for it's visual cleaning results. And, you can't tell anything about how well it rinses. It's not like you can see it rinsing better than plain water or whatever else you may have used.

So, what ... was it the smell you liked?

who has been using it? What do you think? Does it clog up your filters and check valves?

When you change to or from any rinse product, especially to an acid rinse, it will do some work cleaning out whatever lime scale and other build-up is in your lines. Expect that. Descale first if that could be an issue.

Flex ICe will clean out your lines and could glog filters, but once the lines are cleaned out they will stay clean. More water flow, more consistent pressure, less likely to need replacemnt hoses or plumbing when everything is kept clean.

We have done several side-by side comparisons with plain water rinse as well as competiung products. Can clearly see the difference in how deep and how complete the cleaning is with Flex Ice. But you have to do it side by side. Hard to compare from job #1 to job #2. But Flex Ice will improve the cleaning punch of whatever prespray you are using.

scott, are you speaking about machines that dont have last step injection?

The surfactant system in Flex Ice is unique. No other rinse product in our industry has it. It will boost cleaning with any system.

Lime scale build-up can happen even in solution hoses, filters where water enterings wands or upholstery tools and so forth. There are more places for scale to build-up if the system does not have last step chemical injection, but scale will happen in to some degree in any cleaning system that does not have soft water.

That's why I run HM's Clear Water Rinse here and there. Cleans the lines up really nice.

I have converted to ICE from Fabset. Liking it and have not had any issues since my first purchase 1 month ago. I use a combo of flex/bio break for pre spray. Was kinda worried about the PH level of ICE vis a via my fabset but have had no issues.

I haven't tried it, that's why I was asking. I just get tired of other rinses clogging up my hydro force and wand check valves. I think I'll give this a try.

I used Ice for the first time yesterday. I'm not easily impressed but I was with Ice. It cleaned great for a low ph rinse and the carpet felt soft when I was finished. I used 1 1/2 cups in 5 gal and metered at 3. I don't think Ice is a fad......

I started using Ice on our restaurant commercial jobs and after 3 weeks I must say I am totally impressed. I use 2 scoops per 6 gal jug at 2-3 gpM and I am getting the best results we have gotten in years! I have been using Flex & Nitro CT which are probably the best 2 pre sprays for restaurants that we have tried...however we were noticing a residue issue in some of our restaurants (probably those that switched to olefin) so after 8 years of just flushing with fresh softened water we were force to find something to fix this issue. We have gone back to service 2-3 restaurants so far and are seeing improvements. I'll know when we do our full cycle this month because we used flex ice on all 40 (a couple counted twice because we clean them every 2 weeks) units. I am a believer and I was one that always thought rinses were basically manufacturers way of selling more product. Even though over the past few months we have cut back our amount of prespraY I do think we will be able to cut back more which will negate the extra cost somewhat.

Takes some oomph to rinse out delimolene. ICE delivers the rinsing punch.

The next time you run into a heavy soap residue job, try pre spraying AND rinsing with ICE through your RE..

So glad Jimmy invented this stuff.

I have been using it since getting my Rage.
I had a couple of dog dander jobs and I think it really knocked out the smell.
It has been amazing on Berber too.
I've been cleaning this lady's carpet for years.

I have been using Flex Ice since they released it but my chemical injection doesnt work on my machine so I will mix up 6-8 ounces of it in my fresh water tank and use it that way and I have noticed a difference in how it cleans. I really like it.
