So..

800 feet of dirty (not filthy) Poly.

No visible signs of pet damage.

I used the Proteam Vacuum first for edging but I was not happy with how it was NOT digging into the matted pile so I whipped out my new to me Royal. This was my first time really giving one a go and I was very pleased. Much like a Kirby but feels so much lighter. Almost like using the Brush Pro 10" actually. Dug and fluffed MUCH better than the Proteam...Really no comparison on this carpet..

After vacuuming I proceeded to prespray with a mixture of Procyon and a Harvard Pet/Deo that Sagier sent me,(thank you very much) at 320 PSI.

Followed up with the Brush Pro..

Even after the two vacuumings I still dug loads of crud and poly fiber out..

I used the PMF Mach 12 on the bed rooms and edges in the living room and tested out the Rotovac 360i with the brush head to deal with the heavy matting..

The 370 never skipped a beat and when ever I went out to the truck the heat was at 220. 50" of 2.5, 15 of 2" and 25 of 1.5. A total joy to use the Mach 12. So easy to use, only way to make it better would to have a Tom swivel on it. Fantastic airflow and thanks to the two piece glide, it has great edge cleaning and crud pick up with it's wider than normal opening.

Much like Tom's wands, this was created to only be used with a glide so the vacuum port is considerably wider than (most) wands that glides were an after thought for. Big difference and something all other wand manufactures should be implementing in their future designs.. (pissst, the future is now btw)

Hey Marty... NO OVER SPRAY.

Here's the fun part. I wanded at 300 psi with 4 flow. Two to three dry passes. Each room got ten minutes or 20 of drying with the Omni Pro min fans.
and I tell you what. ANY home owner would be convinced that their carpet was 100% dry by the time I left. No moisture could be felt at all.

With a light Flex ICE rinse, the pile was very soft....and very dry.

and very clean..

Hard to tell but that lump was the size of a cantaloupe (or a baby head for your meat heads)

Never thought about my bum foot or bum back today at all...

Just loving this fly weight set up.

If you think it gets hot now wait until summer. You will be happy

Nice video. Keep them coming. I am very interested in your opinion on the 370

You can use 6 flow around 350-400 PSI. Your heat will drop a little but it still cleans great and is a little faster. 4 flow is to low IMO. That blower will really pull some dirt out of the carpet. Keep the wand on the carpet. It doesn't have to be burped like a 36

that was a solid lump in there.

The renter asked if he should post vacuum

Dont bother I told him..

So if you vacuum, CRB scrub then pad you would have left all that in the carpet? Was it a new filter and new hoses or was there hair in the hose from the last job ? I am always amazed how much junk I get in my Dev Filter even after vacuum and CRB

no I used a groomer when all done

I did wand/dry stroke over the RVi"d areas though.

again, I only used the RVi in the LR,, all other areas were "just" wand rinsed...

I've gotten amazing results with my 10 CRB its to easy and really digs crap out, yes a 175 has its place but at well over a 100lbs its a pita for carpets and it doesnt do steps.

The crb makes wanding easier because it pulls more stuff out. I've done a few hammered carpets nuked it with juice and scrubbed, rinsed and looked like new. Its better on pet hair and embedded crap. I have a hoss on one truck and a 360i in the other. I love those, but I think the CRB is my new favorite tool. Thanks Mark, Mike and Rick G. at excellentsupply.

My buddy just bought a 870, my other has a 570 both are very nice units.

The 870 is a beast and I went with him to clean a good sized job the other night well a while back,....I honestly think it is way overboard, dont get me wrong it is BAD AZZ but to really use it to its true potential is crazy, we were really wanting to dual wand with it but that was not even possible, we prevaced everything, the carpet was very dirty so I started in on the buffer and red pad, to keep him moving.
We would have needed at least two other guys there to actually do the job right and even start to dual wand. The amount of work that the 870 or a AT represents blew my mind that night.
For a one or two man show you could easily get by with a much smaller unit. There is so much prep work that it would have been a nightmare with cords, buffers, solution lines, vac hoses to do the job, just made me realize HOW BIG some of these compaies must be to have not one but two AT or 870's

I love his 870, but there is no way I have the work to justify ever getting one honestly, but it is awesome.

Mikey has had them all and I think this is a awesome review just to show you don't have to have the biggest to get the job done. Proper prep, and the right tools make a big difference, and the wand out is just the final touch to rinse it all out.

Great post
