No, I love my rotary, can't live without it. I bought the Zipper for CGD that needs to dry quickly. It works well enough and ends up being good exercise as a low impact upper body workout.

I think that is where the zipper does best.. encap works great too on commercial carpets.

I get all my water from home.
$50 every two months for sewage and under twenty for water. Usually about $10.
I shower daily and we seem to do a lot of laundry.

Do I understand correctly that encap cleaning is highly dependent on the customer vacuuming regularly afterwards, and if they don't the process could have adverse affects?

I filter my water of carbon, chlorine and fine sediment, then soften it.

No. Post-vacuuming after encap is important only in text books.

Pretty much.. you can post vac using a CRB. Every floor cleaning company should have an encap process it can do.

Pretty much. Pre vac would be helpful. Hopefully get them to do it!

If they do vac after the cleaning, it's either an employee racing threw it to get done or a cleaning service(racing threw even faster). I'd imagine they are only vacuuming where they see things.

If you have a floor machine you are good to go(encap).

Years ago we had dual 200 gallon wm pro 2000 tanks we had "acquired". I worked with that truck all summer and never again will I carry water. Too much weight to carry and valuable space taken up in the truck. I've never run into issues hooking to water.

Been cleaning for 30 years and have always had on-board fresh water - 100 gallons. Unless you have a box truck, 100 gallons would be my limit. We have 2 setups - one in a Ford E-250, and the other in an Astro van (ETM). Both vans carry fresh water, both have inline filters and water softeners, and both have APO's.

I have an on-board water softener like Draper's, and an inline sediment filter, so wherever I fill up it is always soft water. I have a 30 GPM APO, so we enjoy continuous cleaning at every job.

When we arrive at a job, I check our water level to see if I will have enough water for cleaning without connecting to their water supply.

I also scope out their outside faucet location for closeness to the van, and will connect if it is close.

We go through some water as we run dual wands on just about every job.

You dual wand with a 45 blower right? I remember seeing a video that you posted on here and was impressed with the suction. I bought a 56 blower and was going to do the same dual port off the blower to the tank.

Yea, we dual wand with a#45 blower, which is more than enough suction if the plumbing is set up right.
