This Video is of me cleaning my living room with the two compounds. So dry soils for the most part.

yes carpet looked like it does even when I hot water extract.
I did post vac the next morning.
here is the pic of the inside of the sweeper bag the next morning.
I'm using a proteam 1500xp at my house.

I have never used the system so....
1. how is the cost compaired to regular encap or HWE chemicals, I am assuming you have to use A LOT of compound?
2. What do you do with the used compound, garbage or can you compost it?

1. more chem cost (encap and compound) then hwe but no expensive tm to use, very little water usage compaired to a tm. you can buy a 10 inch crb or a 20 inch for around $2200, you would need a sprayer for the encap, can be pump up ($75)or battery($450-500), or plug in ($350), doesnt matter.
the compound works well on light to medium soil levels, I've never tried to restore a nasty with the compound.
2. the compound is just thrown away, but i would assume you could compost it if you wanted, birds would probably pick out mrs, piffs hair.

this system works pretty well, i use it a bit on lightly soiled commercial carpets that are 2 stories and up, or apartments that are barely dirty. or when its just too damn cold to drag a ton of stuff threw the snow. (yep Saiger im a pussy when its -10 to -25 degrees. )

excellent question Jimmy, yes the adsorb had bigger particles then the brush pro compound.

I'm not sure if harvard makes a compound. Good question for Saiger.

Dry compounds are helpful when you need to clean an area that has almost continuous traffic such as a 24 hour business. Do it frequently enough that the carpet does not get more than moderate level of soil

The smaller particles in Brush Pro powder should go further for an equal amount of powder. Rather like ULV foffer for guys that are familiar with foggers. Smaller particles means more surface contact area doing the cleaning.

In theory, the smaller particles are also easier to remove from the carpet (by vacuuming or CRB) but I have never tested this idea.

haha, some thing are still useful in todays high tech world though. I've used the compound in some situations where hwe wasn't available and the compound really made a difference.
