....when I told her I wouldn't pay twenty bucks for this rug.
Customer is buying this rug from a friend of hers. She wanted it cleaned because "it's a little bit dirty here and there and there are a couple of spots"...and that "this was a massage therapist's rug.." (red flag going up in my mind, with all the possible massage oils and the unmentionable substance that in fine circles one would just refer to as: reproductive fluids)
She said she'll be paying around $300 for the rug and then she and the friend would split the cleaning cost.
I went out to look at it. Sure enough clearly visible where the table was set and the "traffic" around it.
And here is one where I opened up the pile to show how dirty it is.
Anyways.... She wasn't exactly thrilled when I told her that this might have a yellow haze even after cleaning (from all the oils). Zero promises for $150....and I told her to call the friend and work out a much cheaper purchase price.
