Some where the power cord at the base my meathead helper managed while crbing steps to break the cord! Here's why a $1650 machine should stay out of dumb and dumbers hands.

My tech runs over the cord constantly and has never hurt it. They seem pretty strong. I'm guessing you would have to drag it around to pull it out.

Step 1. Hold additional cord in the hand that's on the tool....

Step 2. Refer to step 1.

Step 3. If they can't get step 1 and 2, sometimes it's best to find someone else...

I don't know how he did it but it feels a little loose inside the cord and it won't start. I'm guessing it's the cord could be something else.

2 year warranty covers all parts. I'll call tomorrow find out what that means.

We show these guys to clip cord to the machine at the handle keep it out from under three feet.

I was in a hurry this evening and got stuck in a sippy hole. Had to tow my mower out....again. hit a T-post and an evergreen, going too fast. Fortunately the were no power cords but I did slice the garden hose. It was a bad night on the Prairie. : (

Sucking the cord can yank it so hard it snaps internally. Do a simple continuity check. One of your prongs will be dead.

Then inspect visually and by touch for a smallish lump. It is likely to be within one foot of the machine.

Probe with the meter probe until you find a place above that lump which gives you continuity on the dead prong. Photograph the internal connections so you can remember which color goes where. Cut the cord above the break, feed it through the grommet, strip and attach the ends. Done. 20 minutes of work.

Or, you can ship it back under warranty and down the gear for two months.

Instead of yanking the wound up cord of the CRB....try popping the rods of the brushes out and release the brushes first. That could save you from some of the cord damage.

Cord looks OK internally from your 2nd picture.

1st look at the plug and replace if damaged.

Cord itself could be damaged at some point ; visually inspect.

I plug it in and wiggled the cord at the base and it goes on and off they're sending me a replacement part.


NATE the wiring on the dripods not an issue I believe the ground wire that attaches under neath the fan is broke or not attached. All three fans he fixed worked fine at his shop.

I can do it just don't want to.
