As for the guys who say that the RE gets more sand and stuff out...Explain why my devastator filter is almost empty at the end of my jobs when I prevac with my Royal and wand it. How can the RE get more out, when most of it is removed with prevaccing? That was my original point. when the job is started properly, you shouldn't need to RE it.
Someone made the comment on my Red pad175 pre scrubbing that it just scrapes the surface of the soil. If that were true, then there'd be no difference in how it looks. The process of the red pad is to break the tension by forcing the nap of the carpet to go side to side, to allow the pre spray to soak in under the soil, so the wand can get the water all the way through the soil and flush it out.
