My boxxer 427 is only producing around 180 max heat and that's only after plugging vacuum. The heat exchanger is relatively new. Any ideas on where to start?
OK. I'll try and locate it.Check your hydraulic arm. See if it's turning all the way to one side when it's in hot water mode. My friend's old Titan was having a problem after 1500 hours. I think it's the flapper inside the Heat Exchanger. It probably has the same heat exchanger as your 427
Can you take a pic and post it on here of the exhaust heat exchanger at a few angles?OK. I'll try and locate it.
Yeah. I think so. Let me go look. Can you take a pic and post it on here of the exhaust heat exchanger at a few angles?
NBA jam.A big boomshakalaka for Matt!
I can't get pictures to load on my phone. I'll try from my computer today.Part #14 on page 1-36 and 1-37 is the part I'm describing that might be messed up connected to the air cylinder, not diverting the exhaust all the way.
Does it look like it's moving the whole distance when you turn the heat mode on and off?I can't get pictures to load on my phone. I'll try from my computer today.
Sorry for my slow response my boy had wrestling tournaments all weekend. I unhooked the linkage and ran the valve all the way over by hand just to make sure it was moving the correct distance but I still can't get over 180.Does it look like it's moving the whole distance when you turn the heat mode on and off?
Did you check to see if there's water constantly dripping in your waste tank when the machine is off?Sorry for my slow response my boy had wrestling tournaments all weekend. There is a very slow drip.Did you check to see if there's water constantly dripping in your waste tank when the machine is off?
Anyway to bypass it for the time being? When the machine is running, the drip will go a lot faster. That's probably your problem. It's a brass sensor attached to your water box. Replace it and that should fix the problem
Plug the hose going to the tankAnyway to bypass it for the time being?
OK. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the help!Plug the hose going to the tank
Plug the hose going to the tank
Are you referring to chemical and hi-temp solenoid? When the machine is running, the drip will go a lot faster. That's probably your problem. It's a brass sensor attached to your water box. Replace it and that should fix the problem
I think it's part number 25 on page 1-69 of the manualAre you referring to chemical and hi-temp solenoid?
I was talking about the high temperature solenoid itself being the problem if it's constantly dripping. and to plug the hose that's going into the nipple. If that fixes your heat problem, then you know to replace that solenoidOK I think I'm on track with you, part 25 shows as a nipple for the high temperature solenoid.
You should've seen where my trailer went today. You 2wheel drive sissies couldn't get up the driveway to do the jobI guess some good things can come from a trailer....![]()
