Just be ready to replace some or all of the soft items on something that has been sitting...hoses...seals, belts, whatever. Example...bought a couple cat pumps that were out of service for a while...there is always a little bit of water left in them...it rusts if left in there for a long time...corroding the end of the pushrods, jacking up the seals...but looks great on the outside.
On the other hand if you're not crazy busy cleaning carpet, it can last for a while if you do stone, showers restoration and so on...solely because you're not putting a lot of hours on it.
Run it daily for a week or two and any shortcomings will show themselves.
