Keep air out of your line
I get that. Ive only had the issue a couple times where I had to shut down to reconnect. A couple times I used a key or screwdriver to to relieve the pressure.I suspect that's where the idea and valve comes from
a compressor bleed off valve
(used to bleed off tank pressure at end of day to minimize wear on seals)
..L.T.A.
. A couple times I used a key or screwdriver to to relieve the pressure.
Only time it would be helpful is when the helper tried to connect the wand and wasn't seated properly-so now ther is pressure between the shutoff valve and the quick connect poppet.
Here lies the problem with the pop off slammer unit.
You have to go to the truck to get the pressurepopper thingy so you might as well just open your regulator and connect the tool.
Would be nice on bigger jobs when switching from hydroforce to tool and vice versa if someone doesn't get the quick connect seated properly as it would save time from running to truck back and forth.
So you would just take it in with the spotters and need as needed..
Now I will be buying a couple.
Use a ball valve and hope said chimp doesn't pressurize the line while it's not seated.
Because if he does? I don't think you'll be able to attach this relief thingy either with out running to the truck to depresurrize.
