To agitate a courthouse carpet that’s been cleaned the wrong way for over ten years.

I had to touch up on an area today that wicked up some brown junk from my first half of this 13hr job.

I would say wrong would be !

Always around cubicles when you steam loads of foam and build up!

Like spot cleaner guy got loose with dish soap!

Not sure about Matt’s experience but I see this a lot

Define Wrong
Wrong:
-Cleaning carpet with just water/no prespray, no heat on the portable machine for over 10 years.

That's the way this carpet has been "cleaned". He knew someone who worked there that kept him on the vendors list.

Were you able to make those 3 out of 1 pad?
I used a 20" pad to make the cimex circles. All I had was beige cimex pads, and I needed something more aggressive and green was the only color I had. My 17" pads were too small to cut the correct size needed

I’ve learned to prespray with Free and Clear from Bridgepoint, scrub with either a CRB or 175, and HWE to get it back to zero. Then I will consider using my Cimex on the next go around.... I feel it’s important to REMOVE the ground in soil and left over chems. I have no desire to continue down the last guys path....

I would’ve done a similar process also, but I didn’t have time to train my 21 year old tech female how to wrestle with a 175. And this carpet is so old with ground in dirt, I think a crb wouldn’t be heavy enough to suspend all that packed in soil

But of course a GOOD, SLOW, VACUUMING first, to remove as much sand and dirt first. ‘Professional janitors ‘ don’t seem to feel it’s necessary to use a vac with a beater bar.... then they wonder why the carpeting looks like shyte....

Then I would have shower fed the Free and Clear through my Cimex, THEN EXTRACT....

BTW, if you want a perfect circle, get a small bucket that is 8-9”, put your large pad on a piece of plywood, put your bucket(template) on it, and use a NEW blade on a snap blade knife....
