I would dial it back to $10-20 coupons for service!

10% on a $500 job just cost you $50 to earn that lead!

But if this is your only marketing expense it could work!

Serious I get it, but I feel I’m killing it they should want to cheer me on with out being paid!

And realtors want you to do everything cheap and want perks are for the birds!

If you got a high end realtor dropping you 4-5 k a month then do what you have to!

I’ve never got more then 4-5 lead from most a year.

Just opened in March, and it’s taking off. Way I look at it, would I have had that call if I didn’t market referrals.
I built my business on referrals and relationship building. Doing much of the same thing you have laid out, but without the "Pre Tax" wording :)

On little thing I do is have pizzas delivered to my big commercial clients. They love it. Referral request cards go out every couple of months to all customers with a Visa gift card reward for jobs closed.

I’ve gained probably 12-15 new, high end clients in the last year because of them... average ticket has been between 4-800$.... even if my cost has been 1k over the last year between fuel, chems etc, I’m still getting referred on a regular basis. AND, these new clients are referring me to their family, friends, and neighbors..... to be honest, it was one of the best things I’ve done for my business....

Selected Property Managers that were in areas and had properties that were higher end. Weekly rentals or seasonal rentals. There are quite a few here. Ann cold called them to ask if they minded if I stopped by their offices for 5 minutes to introduce ourselves, give them a card and if they had an area in their office that needed attention to let me know when I was there. If I could fix their problem it would be free. I don't pay anyone anything. They referred me because they met me and watched me work. They continue to refer me because I make them look good to their Clients. Regular prices.

As a matter of fact, I just got home from a commercial job. The owner of the business was originally referred by one of my realtors. I’ve done their home twice now, and now I’ve done their business aswell...

Dudes dont listen to me!

Lancaster Ca has the busiest sheriff station in LA County!

Palmdale 2nd busiest!

Lots of petty theft!

Some violent crime!

There’s some high end play here!

But most professionals at retirement head to Idaho Texas or Arizona somewhere!

Smart people exit the state!

I don’t consider realtors a good referral source. But I have my reasons for that opinion that I’ll keep to myself.
