Still practicing on my Illustrator

will be posting to my FB and will make a print out to my clients to have and distribute to the gated clubhouse that I do not have access. I will also post the Flyers to the groceries store in the rich areas and got to all the areas that I do have access to.

Should I add guarantees? Credit card/ Visa logo to indicate that I accept that form of payments?

Guaranty and credit cards will help somewhat. I just don't know about advertising window cleaning and carpet cleaning together. Makes me think you are a jack of all trades and master of none. Consider a window cleaning ad and a separate carpet cleaning ad.

I am currently working on separate ad. This one, I am hoping to find certain audience that wants it both done. I hope... my goal is to have clients that wants their windows and carpet done by same company as opposed to calling 2 separate companies.

Don't rule out the two working together. Try it.

The flyer (postcard?) is not visually done well.
Too many elements fighting each other and the eyes go all over the place. A good design will lead the viewer's eye to where you want it to go.

with a name like yours, the house should look like it's in Nevada, not New Hampshire.
I agree, however it's not just state but rather the city... a lot of here looks like from the New Hampshire, Louisiana Bayou, Prairie house...a lot of old house were built in 40s-60s as second house. I shown it to several stranger, one of them actual said that the house look like one near downtown...

Fred, it is not meant as an "ouch" (nor a put down) at all.
Would he rather be told an honest opinion or ........?
I appreciate it. I prefer honesty. It was amateur work because I did it. But I was also keeping it real as well, straightforward price and clear message.

I have different and more slick ad being made for postcard when I can afford it. I'll show it when I am done with.

I like it. It looks professional, has a good offer on it, and isn't cluttered. Make sure it's a glossy type picture, and tell us how many jobs you get off it. It looks like you're gonna get only window jobs off it, so prepare for that kind of response. Maybe you can pick up a few carpet jobs, but I doubt it. Either way, it looks good.

Are your window cleaning prices on par with your competition?

I am $15 per window or $300 for 20 which I regularly get.

Mind you mine are Aussie dollars.

It looks pretty good for an amateur. Try changing the background of the coupon area and see if it helps it pop more. The coupon area is what I would spend a little more time with. It just gets lost, yet it is one of the most important elements. Reduce the size of the house image if needed.

I agree with Ofer, no matter how good it looks, a pro can always make it even better.

What idiot is gonna ask that question!?

It’s a catchy phrase on a coupon duh! Can’t you be a little more positive on your negative criticism!? Ass!

I agree with others it visually doesnt look "quite right" cant be more constructive at this point as I just know what I like

Depending on size of your market I would be tempted to do a run of 1 more carpet orientated with windows as upsell and another vice versa. And see what if any difference there is on sales? (let me know before october lol)

I also like the point in EDDM thread that its success is not necessarily based purely on sales but also branding

Yes, $12 for me which about $16 for you. But this includes track and screen clean if applicable. I just knock $2 off per window if they go for this deal.

Math always catches my eye. The normal price for cleaning 20 windows in more than double the price for cleaning 10 windows. Maybe I'll have you make two trips, clean 10 each time and save $10. No volume savings?

?

Same value saving in either deal, it runs about $10 per window if they choose the promo as opposed to normal $12. . Yeah I'll adjust to 119 95 to $124.95

I would hire Kettering too. I design graphics but usually source things for my company out because I'm just too picky and hard on myself to get the look I want.

However, if you're wanting to do it yourself. I suggest adding gradients in the black and gray box areas. The rectangles look too boxy but when you add a gradient from absolute black to a charcoal black it makes it more appealing to the eye and creates some depth and shape. Do not go big on the shade difference, just a slight change can make a big difference.

Also, there are a lot of free badges you can find. Look up "grunge badges", they'll go more with your logo style and bring it together better than what you have now. Use these for things like the August Specials part of your flyer.

I'd check with Phillip Newell at Signs Amigo. You get the file he design's you. It's yours and you can have Gotprint print them very reasonable.

I like Ketterings stuff but I want the file.
