An observation. The economy looks pretty strong if the price of Mikey's auctions is any indication. Fred the retail to auction price seems a lot closer lately---am I right?

After a month, how are you (they) liking it?
Sorry for the late response. The crew that has it has used it on probably 5 jobs. So far, so good as far as he reports. Additionally we've used it on 2 REDO’s that the crew scrubbed via CRB and Devestator. Customer called back so rather than re-cleaning via the same process, used the Rotary Extraction and was able to please both customers. I don’t see us using it but maybe 1 or 2 jobs a week for the 1 crew that keeps it (probably completes 20 jobs a week)

There is no deeper, more effective way to clean trashed carpets but if you're like us, you only need it 3.9% of the time.

Can you talk your way out of those jobs or just give them the sorry mam, your carpet needs to be replaced, sure..

But isn't it cool to have the option to be a Super Hero?

So, on the redos, did you go over them with the crb, or just groom them out?

??? i'm confused what you're asking... All Stanley Steemer's honor a 10 Day REDO policy where any customer who is unhappy with the service they were provided and we'll return to re-clean the areas (I know someone will ask so i'll go ahead and just state its about 3.5 - 3.75% of all jobs).... The 2 Jobs I was referring to were REDO's... The original crew had pre-sprayed, Scrubbed with CRB, and wanded the homes.... The customer called unhappy with the result and rather than sending another crew to repeat the same process I sent the crew with the RotoVac to see it they could get the areas looking better than the crews without the RotoVac... Both customers were satisfied after re-cleaning with the RotoVac. Hope this helps.

So, you just go over it again with the Rotovac and leave it at that? Not for cleaning, but finishing🤷🏻‍♂️ That is my question since I don’t have a brush head.

I think that he was asking if you leave the Rotovac swirly’s or do you groom it out with a rake, crb or wand.

And all that for a $99 special?
We have approximately a $200 ticket average. With our current REDO rate at approximately 3.5% we will only do "all that" on 1 out of 29 jobs. So no.... we do not do "all that" for $99.... We do "all that" for approximately $5,800.... We work in volume... without standing behind our work and doing whatever we can to make our customers happy, we don't have volume.
