How come we never get any feedback on the Xdrive from Hydramaster?

I had my van in the shop for a scheduled maintenance.
The mechanic who worked on it was in the know with HydraMaster.
He told me there was a guy in Toronto that had bought a X-Drive, it broke down, and it had been in the shop for 4 and a 1/2 months!!!!
I don’t think I’m interested in buying one....

The biggest problem with etm's is when you add up all the extras you need, like propane heater, waste tank, 200 feet of pressure and vac hose, etc. You could have bought a small gas powered unit with more power. Hydramasters X-Drive is a different animal. They are just replacing the shaft drive with a generator and electric motor. The power and heat are the same as a regular 4.8.

But more due to the new vans and the effect it has on the direct drive manufactures

Once they discontinue the Chevy van, they don’t have a platform to install their TMs In .
Not that engineers can’t make one to fit the new europhag Vans
But will vehicle manufactures honor the van warranty with such mods ?


And whatever they come up with, I’ll bet my last Little Debbie oatmeal cream pie, Butler, Cleanco and HM won’t make a TM with electric fan vacs

That's why I said "properly engineered". My neighbor has a parkade cleaning business. His ride on equipment is all hydraulic. Doesn't leak a drop. Most heavy equipment is powered by hydraulics. The brakes on your vehicle are hydraulic. If your hydraulic system is leaking it's up to YOU to fix it.
