Project truck and mount almost done!

So some of you guys might remember me from a few years back. Short back story, I started with a porty a few years ago, then upgraded to a used prochem performer and put into a enclosed trailer. Decided it would be a good idea to redo my performer bc the frame on it had some pretty bad rust on bottom. It became to much of an undertaking although I did quite a bit of it done. Decided this time around to buy a van of some sort and a newer used truck mount. Ended up doing a few things to the newer truckmount to get it up to par. Used the waste tank and water box from my old machine and retrofitted it. So here's some pics of my progress and where I'm at with it now

Thanks man. Yea I'm a bit of a DIYer lol but honestly this was more then I had anticipated. I've been working on it steady for 3 weeks and worked on it about 2 weeks a little when I was full time at my job. Cost about 50 bucks to do the hose reel and really I did a quick job wasn't worried about any variation from the chipping paint. Hit it with a wire wheel then sprayed it with primer then paint

In 4 days the end of August I bought a new Promaster.
Herculiner for 3 days because it poured rain all weekend and took forever to cure.

Had to reschedule a couple of days. Luckily my neighbor has a forklift. 2 days with help from local Steamer when he finished his days. Gary came over to hold wrenches. I moved my equipment over.

Marty could hang a hammock for on the job naps in my truck.

Still have to hang plywood on drivers wall for tool hanging storage.

Keep after it.

It's a never ended process but it's so fulfilling the closer you get to the end and of course when you finish one thing another messes up haha. Currently fixing something that I just fixed and it crapped out again

Trust me I contemplated it but after looking at used setups for around 10k and then seeing them in person they always disappointed, so now I can make it exactly the way I want it. If I wanna change something it's easier bc ik how everything is setup. Also I'll know my machine inside and out, and all is kinks. Yay. Probably will have a little more in it then buying used but it will be way more solid and again I'll know it inside and out.

And a new unit would have issues as well but at least I know how to fix this one.

I highly recommend some RVsteps for the back. It'll make getting in and out a LOT easier and may save you from a bad slip. Ask me how I know! Can even walk a CIMEX up and down them. Best $150 I spent on her.

If so mine is the same color.

Nope, that is the precursor to the C4, called the CanAm. Bob Foster and Les put this together, engine was on propane and had a 4HT like a TNT, but its a bigger engine and blower than a TNT. Also, the fw tank was supposed to the tank underneath but it was only 80gal and I wanted a bigger supply so that tank never saw any use.
