I do not groom empties for PMs, because
1. They tend to be worn and hammered so a pattern disguises all that.
2. The new tenant can see that the carpet was actually cleaned.

Occupied homes get groomed every time.

With an understanding that I recommend carpet grooming, has anyone actually proven that carpet dries more quickly when groomed?

I hope it does; I'm just concerned that this is MUS.
A dry pass dries faster than grooming with no dry pass for sure. I usually pick one or the other depending on the situation. Although grooming has better results while carpet is damp and not almost dry. I usually end up just dry passing cause that all customers really care about. Especially now with kids not going to school and people working from home.

I didn't groom this haunted rug studio full of Navajos today...

As soon as it gets walked on it looks flattened. No amount of raking, grooming or anything else is going to fix unwound and matted fibers.

Yup.... I’m missing my barber shop for sure.... old school, a guys barber shop.... always asks if I want a ‘hot shave’ after the cut... lots of f bombs, lots of old dudes getting away from the wife....

I can live with all 3 strands of hair but I need my pedicure. They're going to have to use a chainsaw to get through those talons on my hooves.

The wording of this is almost as complicated as the 20 questions on my motorcycle test.
