Why trailers are no good for carpet cleaners.

I was reminded Today how much of a bad mood this dirt road put me in several years ago. I understand if you’re just starting and that’s all you got. But give yourself a goal to get in a van or box truck in the next year or two max

because when you get busy, more of these situation will be happening very often

What’s bad is when the road is rutted out, and the ruts are 3 ft deep. Your pulling the trailer with floor equipment and your partner‘s looking at you with her eyes bugging out. But, you look at her and say, you booked it.

I can get to a lot of places with my trailer that I don't think a van could. We go to a lot of remote cabins in the mountains that require 4wheel drive.
It can be a real bitch to back out of some of them but we seem to get by.

How I get to my jobs.

This can be common around us in the Spring especially.

We can show up to a job early morning when the ground is frozen... And when the job is finished, the frost has gone out.

It has been this bad more than once!

Another reason to never park on their yard.

I paid a tow truck once, 30 years ago. Then spent an hour fixing the rut.

It would have taken maybe ten minutes to run the extra hose.

About 2 years back I had the option to buy a van with a 4" lift and the quigley 4x4 conversion. It was completely setup with a Boxxer 421 in it for about $20k. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.
