I'm going to do a bid for a hospital for some carpet cleaning and tile and grout. I'm not sure on size of the areas but I will measure today. What are questions that you like to ask that help you with the job?
That's a good start! Lol!I like to ask when they want it done
Government? 120 days...How long is it gonna take to get my money?
Do they have government hospitals in the US? Wouldn't that be socialism?Government? 120 days...
My largest account pays me monthly, then every week for beck and callTHEY control every aspect....
THEY will expect you to be at their beck and call...
Ya, but Kenny, your janitorial, he’s doing carpet & T&G...My largest account pays me monthly, then every week for beck and callI answer the call, but it’s not a hospital.
Thanks Jimmy! We went over that today. I will basically be doing the clinic, offices, stations and hallways. I will do it at night and also get a badge for accessing certain areas.Always ask about accessibility
I'm working with one manager and we will do it all in one shot. Hopefully everything goes smooth.hospitals can be a pain
yeah we want the 3 office hubs done, anytime... no cant do it now come back later we just got busy
and each department has its own manager who wants to negociate
The clinic part will be closed so pedestrians shouldn't be an issue. I would like to give you a call this week to ask you a few questions. Could you PM me your number?Who is going to manage slip and fall hazards?
Expectations and time frames have been discussed. Basically Friday night till Monday morning . Concerns were also addressed i believe them to be mostly traffic areas.time schedule/access/how soon does it need to be back in use?
(within a couple/few hours, over night or weekend )
clear understanding of what they want/expect/need moved.
(if applicable, will they be moving and replacing, or will you, or something in between)
Clear understanding of they're biggest concerns/problem areas (if applicable)
..L.T.A.
Looked at all them. They're all tile and need to be cleaned and sealed. Some may be a difficult hose run. I've got a portable but only 310psi so still trying to figure out a few of those.“Where is the bathroom?”
I don't think it will be an issue.Doesn’t matter, either way, still slow pay!
The one I do bit of work for, paediatrics is generally quiet over weekend with ok access (the mums dont appreciate it, no identifiable uniform worn lol)I'm working with one manager and we will do it all in one shot. Hopefully everything goes smooth.
Thanks Mike! I know the SFS has some things also but I feel it's always best to talk with the people that have done it also. There's some tile repair that I really could have used your course on. Hopefully when the world isn't on fire I can attend your class. The IICRC has a standard for doing commercial work that lists EVERY concern you could think of....
good luck with that, doctors and nurses are there to be doctors and nurses. When I come in everything will need to be ready and no staff can be on the areas I’m cleaning
