Did you buy a 2"x14" Dev and if so do you have a real truck mount, and if so did you give yourself at least a week of full time wanding to get used to it?

If the answer to the above three questions is yes, you never would have sold it. Nothing else performs as well.

which begs the question, when you get a new wand, is it love at first sight or do you need time to get used to it?

That's a bold statement

I think there may be a wand or two that performs as well but just doesn't have the nifty features... What all of you use for a couple weeks or more to determine that statement?

I see where one of Waldo's buddies is saying that new BristorDang wand is exceeding the Devastator in performance

This guy has only briefly used a Devastator so he doesn't really know but I'm wondering what kind of bullshit lies Joe is saying
I have a dang wand that was my daily user until I got my 12" devastator. I threw it in the van to try with my new legend the other day and I couldn't believe what a s#!tty job it did. There is no way a dang can do better than a dev.

My devastator 12 swivel is getting too easy to turn, not sloppy mind you and is driving me nuts I try to trick Tom told me to stiffen it up but didn't work no I'm in the cone of silence as far as getting some attention so I may be given that Sapphire 12 some 11 although I don't know how I'll deal without having my window

You can't drill it and install a thumbscrew?

I have two of the the 2 inch devs bought a year apart. The newest of the two, the swivel is is loose. Can’t set it on its side with out it flopping over. The older one is still as tight from day one. Doesn’t flop over. The 1.5 that I bought on Facebook a few months ago is so stiff it barely swivels. But that said it doesn’t get much use. I just bought it for the deal.

I had the 12”.

Probably sold it too soon.

I just needed a different glide.

I’m sticking with this Sapphire 12”.

By far my favorite.

I’d say it performs very similarly to the 12 inch Devastator, just doesn’t have the fancy swivel or window. The window would be nice, but I don’t really like swivels.

It all comes down to the head and where the tube connects to the head, right? If that’s what gives you performance, then the dang should be almost identical to the Devastator, because their designs are almost the same.

Ill do some side by side comparisons when im back at it.

Im positive the cleaning and vacuum will be identical on my 370

Smaller units may get 10% more extraction out of the Dev

I've used every serious wand save for the new generation of Sapphire. They look great, and maybe they clean as well, but if you lack a swivel you are missing at least some edges and corners in residential unless you are super quick to break out the hand tool.
