First a good cleaning with a good upholstery shampoo and green striped mitt and then I would have tried a little acid side rinse, toweled and fan dried.

How would your approach differ either way?
synthetic?

TOPSSPOT, diluted and an AFR rinse.

Well hard to see.
Appears to be a velour.
Or microfiber so.
The back looks fine, back of leg areas ok.
As for seating platform.
Both cushions appear to have a squarish looking mark.?
At first,I thought they spelled something in the soil.
But be that as it may.
Swab a q tip damp over whole area.
Then roll it on a ph paper.
See if you get a result.
For an idea of what's remaining.
Adjust cleaning agents down,from truckmount.
Keep a mild pre spray ready.
Prespray,,likely work in rinse,dry.
Force dry an towel.
At this point recorrect the redried piece...
Terrible uph toolmanship.
At least they could have smoothed out grain with towel or brush.
But lower the pressure Marty.
It's hacker touch up not a heavy clean.
Time,drying,patience,an build a referral.
With your magnetic personality whist waiting for results.
But cushions look like something was placed on them also whilst drying.
The imprint,is similar both pieces.

I succumbed to his spell and ordered some TopSpot😏 We’ll see. I do have one school that is outta control with ink and black spots.
Cost $70 to get it to my house.

That was the real issue wasn't it? The rest was just proper cleaning like I said.

Did you ask what the stain was?

So the pink and yellow/green area is still there? So what did you do to make it better?

As I explained earlier, the pink and yellow was a camera thing. It isn’t there in reality.

No Steve, the stain was not the issue with the customer. It was the “stripes” or left behind soil.
