Used Green Dragon encap powder for the first time. I’m not impressed. I should have just used my normal Awesome encap or Angry Lemon or DS2.

Got a call back from the customer saying there is white chalkyness in places. Going back tomorrow night to reclean.

was it the first time you cleaned that office?

I wouldn't be impressed with that "cleaning" without the white residue...

No, I clean that office quarterly. The carpet needs replacing from all the wear. the landlord refuses.

Yeah. I’m not telling the customer to vac it up. To me this is an unacceptable result. Never had this happen with my other encaps. The customer should not be required to do work after paying me for a cleaning. I’ll fix it tomorrow. Who knows, maybe I just need to vac it.
Fix it correctly by rinsing it properly

You might be able to vacuum that out. Was it mixed up good? Maybe you had unmixed powder getting put down?

I don’t use Green Dragon or any of those VLM powders. Was always too afraid of something like this happening.

How much time are you really saving with buffing that carpet vs setting up HWE? 15min?

Or is it a huge bldg that would require 400-500ft of hose? That I understand.

I can unload a Cimex, with half a tank of juice ready to go, encap 1000 ft2 and be loading back up in the time it takes me to set up and get the Little Giant lit.

Box truck, Cimex, lift gate. That combo is a commercial carpet money printing press.

Its the garbage can washing that takes up all the time.

from the Encrapstore website regarding GreenDragon

No Oxi..Green Dragon is not a traditional encap product and does not contain polymers. Instead, the product utilizes anti-redeposition agents that help repel soil from the fiber.

Google tells me antiredesposition agents are;

ANTIREDEPOSITION AGENT: An ingredient used in laundry detergents to help prevent soil from resettling on fabrics after it has been removed during washing.

I'm not a vury smart man..
so how would that be useful for bonnet cleaning?
...If you actually want soil to transfer to the bonnet? :headscratch:

1 - GD dragon isn’t a stand-alone encap at all.

2 - If you just poured the powder into you tank, then that’s the problem. It has to be mixed up first.

3 - GD is similar to Procyon and a Carpet Details.
